Kristina Antolić

During 2019, Kristina started experimenting with fabric, printmaking, drawing and sewing. The new series of soft objects so called Totems may evoke primitive cultures. Motives belong to the Mediterranean cultural circle, author’s imagination, Art History or myth, with references on antiquity and Italian Renaissance. Considering Fiber Art, her artworks are placed somewhere between printmaking, drawing and sewing.  Sewing by hand or sewing machine may evoke drawing through its irregularity and printmaking through its expression.
